F3 Engineering, formerly known as FF Food Engineering, was established in 1979 by Sam Forbes and Jim Faloon. Initially specialising in the supply and installation of heavy catering contracts for schools, the business quickly earned a reputation for the quality of their work.
The company was acquired in 2004 by the CHC Group of Companies and now trades as F3 Engineering Ltd., the core business of stainless steel fabrication added to a diverse portfolio of products and services ranging from ventilation systems and installation to a full service maintenance division, all under the F3 umbrella brand.
We have a fully equipped 3D AutoCAD design department which enables us to design, engineer and manufacture any product to your specifications. The design department features modern CAD equipment which complements our state-of-the-art production facility.
All aspects of design, manufacture and installation are undertaken by our employed, trained engineers and our services are strictly controlled by our ISO9001:2008, ISO14001:2004, OHSAS18001:2007, Investors in People accredited systems and our Business Continuity System.
We currently carry out work throughout the UK and Ireland and provide complete satisfaction from Manufacture to Commission on site.

Food Engineering
Food Engineering Ltd T/A F3 Engineering initially specialising in the supply and installation of heavy catering equipment, we have now expanded our product range to include many bespoke products for various business sectors.
Ventilation
We have the facility to install canopies and design, manufacture and install associated ventilation systems. Expertise in ventilation has allowed for the development of compensated air and induction canopies. F3 ventilation not only provides kitchen ventilation but trained engineers design commercial and industrial ventilation and air conditioning schemes.
Maintenance
As a natural progression, F3 Maintenance has evolved to provide both reactive and planned preventative maintenance to both the kitchen and ventilation divisions. F3 Maintenance also carries out duct cleaning and kitchen deep cleans.
